The Doctor Will See You Now.

"The Doctor Will See You Now" is an installation piece in the layout of a therapist’s, with a board of information and statistics about mental health and suicide. I have also placed folders for people to look at, that hold fake documents and images to go along with the theme of a therapist’s office. There are images of people in the file with their faces scratched off, I have done this to show that people living and dealing with mental health do show what it's really like. Due to stigmatism around mental health issues, I have scratched out their faces, by doing this I am literally hiding the person and who they are, just like many how are dealing with mental health do…. It is almost like a mask.
